Lynn Austin grabs your attention and pulls you into her story! You really just need to read this for fun and enjoy a weekend relaxing with coffee! The Captive Heart by Dale Cramer is the sequel to Paradise Valley. Caleb Bender and his family are still in Mexico dealing with bandits, disease, and forbidden love. Miriam is falling in love with the native help Domingo, and with him not being Amish she tries to fall for someone else. A very good, seeming very real Amish novel without all the fluff of most.
